Exton Round

Sunday 2nd May 2021

There was not much interest in the walk option at Wootton Wawen so only the Exton walk took place.

With only three walk leaders available, we had to limit numbers to 18 to comply with the rule of six. This resulted in three people not being able to join us. Still hopefully only one more walk with the rule of six.

The highlight of this walk is passing the folly Fort Henry, with its picturesque stting on the lake, it is always a good stopping point.

The weather was fine and the walk was capped off with our first post-walk visit to a pub since the last lockdown - the Fox & Hounds in Exton.

The farmer stops to tell Group 2 they are off the path. Roger seems to have made himself scarce.
